About CSR2MODX
CSR2MODX is an independent editorial and reference site about CSR2 drag racing. We publish strategy that explains itself: why a final drive change helps, why a fusion part is worth holding, and why two cars with the same performance points can finish a second apart.
Our editorial policy
- Original only. Every guide, car entry and reference chart on this site is written here. We do not copy text, tables or tune sheets from other CSR2 sites, and we do not republish community content as our own.
- Reasoning over numbers. Game balance changes. A number copied from a patch two years ago is worthless; the reasoning behind it usually still holds, so that is what we lead with.
- We say when something is uncertain. Where a value is an approximation or an archetype rather than an exact in-game readout, the page says so.
- No invented endorsements. We publish no fabricated testimonials, ratings or results.
How the car database works
Entries in the database describe car archetypes you will meet across the tiers, with the performance figures and tuning weaknesses that decide their races. Each entry lists tier, class, performance points, acceleration and top speed alongside written shift and nitrous notes. Use them as a starting point, then confirm against your own dyno — your upgrade state changes every window.
External resources and third-party tools
On a small number of pages we point to independent, community-run CSR2 sites, including Sharkmods (external link). Those links are optional context, never a requirement, and each one can be switched off per article by our editors. We are not affiliated with them and we do not guarantee the safety or outcome of any third-party service. Anything that modifies a game client carries account risk, and we do not host or distribute such files.
Corrections and contributions
Contributors sign in through the account page. Editors and admins can add and revise guides, car entries and resources through the built-in content manager, and every change is timestamped on the page it affects.
