PP, ET, dyno, evo, regulation, restriction, wager — a plain-English dictionary of the terms the game never explains.

Core terms

PP (Performance Points) — the single number the matchmaker uses to rate your car.

ET (Elapsed Time) — your finishing time for the run. Lower is better.

Dyno — the graph in the tune screen showing power across each gear.

Evo — evolution; upgrading a car through parts to unlock a higher-rated version.

Regulation race — a race with a fixed restriction on tier, class or PP.

Restriction — the entry rule for an event, such as manufacturer or drivetrain.

Wager — a cash-stake race against another player's time.

Final drive — gearing multiplier that trades acceleration against top speed.

Stage upgrade — the standard cash-bought upgrade path, stages 1 through 5.

Fusion part — rare parts applied after stage 5 to push past the PP ceiling.
