Fusion Parts Without Regret: Where to Spend and What to Skip

Fusion parts are the most misused resource in CSR2. A simple priority order stops you dumping rare parts into a car you will retire in a month.

What fusion parts actually do

Fusion parts add power, grip or weight reduction on top of a fully staged car. They are the only way past a hard PP ceiling.

Priority order

  1. Cars you use in crew and season events every week.
  2. Cars with a high stock ceiling in Tier 5.
  3. Everything else — wait.

Never fuse

  • A Tier 1-3 car you are only using to clear a milestone.
  • A car you have not fully upgraded yet. Stage upgrades are always cheaper per PP.
  • A car with a poor grip rating hoping fusion will save it. It will not.

The 80% rule

If a race is winnable at 80% of your fusion budget, stop there. The last few parts cost multiples of the first and rarely change the result.
