CSR2MODX opens with a 30-guide starter library

Why we built an independent CSR2 reference, what is in the first release, and what we refuse to publish.

By The CSR2MODX Desk, Editorial team24 Aug 2026

CSR2MODX exists because most CSR2 advice online is a screenshot of somebody else's tune with no explanation attached. Copy the numbers, hope they work, and start again from zero the moment you change a part.

What launched today

The first release contains thirty starter guides covering the basics, driving technique, tuning theory, racing strategy, in-game economy, event planning and tier-by-tier progression. Alongside them sits a car database of the archetypes you actually race, plus a resources section with reference charts and a tune log template.

What we will not publish

We do not republish other sites' data tables, and we do not invent numbers. Where an exact in-game value depends on your specific car, upgrade state and game version, we describe the method for finding it rather than printing a figure that will be wrong for most readers. If a value is not verified on our side, it simply does not appear.

What comes next

The news section will carry two kinds of post: changes we observe in the game, and changes we make here. Corrections are published as posts rather than quietly edited, so you can see when a recommendation changed and why.
